Welcome To Paradise is a 5-day Christian festival in a heavenly location.
The cocktail that has proved so popular over the past 10 years is an “à la carte” festival where you can choose from around twenty activities each day: sports, conferences, spiritual time, sharing, relaxation and more.
A host of evening events, music, worship and festivities also punctuates the week.
Welcome To Paradise is for believers as well as for those who are further away from faith.
The purpose of the festival is to enable everyone to recharge their batteries, make authentic encounters and live a meaningful life.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Formation
Themed workshops to become an equipped & trained Christian missionary, able to evangelize and face the challenges of today’s world.
Prayer
Praise, prayer services, adoration, masses (and other denominations worship services) punctuate the days to put God at the heart of your summer and live by the fire of the Spirit!
Fraternity
Come and taste fraternity in Christ! Experience living the Church & share the joy of being Christians together with young people from all over the world!
À la carte
Choose from a range of activities, including sports, water sports and extraordinary evening events, to make the most of your vacation in an extraordinary location!

Prière
Louange, offices de prières, messes (et cultes), adoration rythment les journées pour mettre Dieu au coeur de ton été et vivre du feu de l’Esprit !
Formation
Des workshops thématiques pour être un chrétien équipé & formé, missionnaire, capable d’évangéliser et de faire face aux enjeux du monde actuel.
À la carte
Des activités aux choix : sports à la carte, activités nautiques, soirées extra-ordinaires pour profiter pleinement de tes vacances dans un cadre extraordinaire !

Every summer, hundreds of young people join the miracle workers, helping to make the festival happen!
Come and offer your talents, and experience fraternity in service to the Kingdom. It’s a unique opportunity to discover paradise from the inside and experience Welcome to Paradise like never before…
FAQs
Welcome To Paradise is an event open to all young people in Europe between the ages of 18 and 30. Young adult ministry leaders are also welcome.
The ticket covers participation in the entire session and 3 meals a day for the week at Hautecombe. Access to the campsite is also included in the basic ticket.
The price per week is 190€ for Festival participants and 150€ for Volunteers.
Money shouldn’t be an obstacle to your participation. Contact us if you have any difficulties.
Any young adult who wants to can volunteer for Welcome To Paradise festivals.
For volunteers, the cost of the first week is 150€. Participation is free for subsequent weeks.
Families are very important to us. Unfortunately, we’re not able to accommodate them at the festival site.
During Welcome To Paradise, accommodation is in tents, camping at Hautecombe Abbey. Access to the campsite with showers and toilets is included in the registration fee. You can rent a tent for 10€/week on site (reservation required) or bring your own.
Food is included in the registration fee (morning, noon and evening). In the afternoons and evenings, the Kawaco offers a few extras (drinks and food) which festival-goers have to pay for.
All young people between the ages of 18 and 30 are welcome. The diversity of our cultures, churches and sensibilities is a strength.
The festival takes place in south-east France, at Hautecombe Abbey, near Chambéry and Aix-les-Bains.
You can come by car directly to the festival site, by bike, car-sharing, hitchhiking or by train to Culoz station (a shuttle service is available at 7€ from this station).
